‘TOM & ANDREA – THE RACING YEARS’ DVD

A new documentary film on the life and times of local racing star Tom Herron.

The film was made to mark the 40th anniversary of his tragic death at the NW200 in 1979.

In a story introduced and narrated by Stephen Watson, Tom’s wife Andrea and close family members, together with key personalities from his career help tell about his fascinating life.

The story follows Tom’s life from a young boy growing up in Leitrim, Co. Down to that fateful day at the NW200 in May 1979. It is illustrated with rare archive footage of Tom at the races as well as many unseen photographs.
